A huge thank you to the Pets Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that we have received a generous grant of £10,000 from the Pets Foundation to help us cover essential veterinary bills for the animals in our care.

This funding will ensure that our animals receive the medical attention they need, from routine check-ups to critical surgeries. Many of the animals that come into RSPCA Norwich care are in need of life-saving veterinary care, and although we are fortunate to have a great partnership with a local vet practice, vet fees are one of our highest outgoings. Each year we typically spend around £170,000 on vet fees for our animals, including neutering, operations and treatments. The grant received from the Pets Foundation will help to reduce financial pressures, and make a big difference to animals in need of vital vet care.

Additionally, we’ve also been awarded £4,564 in Pets Club vouchers from the Foundation. These vouchers will help us provide nutritious food for the animals while they await their forever homes, as well as enrichment toys, bedding, collars, leads and other essential items.

A huge thank you to the Pets Foundation for supporting us. As a small, local RSPCA Branch, we are responsible for our own means of generating income, and grant donations such as this are vital to supporting our operations.
