Amanda Jackson-Nichols

Amanda joined the Trustee Board in September 2021. She is a retired solicitor, having lived and worked in Norfolk for over 30 years and has been passionate about animal welfare since childhood. She is married to Mark and has two grown up sons, all animal lovers. Their home has also been home to many rescue animals over the years including a variety of wonderful cats and dogs, former battery chickens and a one eyed, three-legged affectionate hedgehog called Geoffrey. Amanda currently has a rescue greyhound called Scruff (which he isn’t!) and a mad cocker spaniel called Monty. She is also a volunteer rescue dog walker. She is very much looking forward to being able to use her professional experience and passion for animal welfare in her role as a Trustee at the Branch.
